Villandraut, which has a population of around 1,000, is located in the Landes de Gascogne forest on the river Ciron, south-south-east of Bordeaux. It boasts a magnificent medieval castle (Clementine period) in the heart of the village, as well as a wide range of sporting and cultural facilities (museum, sailing club, etc.), and can also accommodate numerous visitors in its hotels, bed & breakfasts, gîtes, campsites, restaurants, etc….
