The Wackids are children of the 80s. Back then, the year 2000 was the FUTURE. We imagined flying cars, we got the Renault Clio. We dreamt of tele-transportation, we got the Nokia 3310. We fantasised about 3D TV, we got reality TV. But when we listened to rock music, we longed for it to stand the test of time and continue to thrill us in the 21st century.
For the 4th opus of the Wacky-Odyssey, FUTUR 2000, The Wackids have a new mission: to prove to the younger generation that rock has survived the Y2K bug and the many traps laid in its path: from Auto-Tune to Tecktonik via Renée la Taupe and Star Academy, the battle was not won. And yet… ROCK IS NOT DEAD!
