Just 45 minutes from Bordeaux, Château de Malle is a privately-owned historic monument built in the 18th century and surrounded by 6.5 hectares of remarkable gardens inspired by Louis XIV’s famous Versailles.
This period of Enlightenment helped to make the estate part of the rich historical heritage of the Bordeaux region and of France as a whole.
The vineyard, classified as a Grand Cru in 1855, covers 50 hectares in a single block, straddling 2 prestigious appellations: Graves and Sauternes. This powerful vineyard, certified organic, produces vintages of exceptional quality, offering a full range of wines, including red, white and Sauternes.
In 2024, Luc and Clémence Planty breathed new life into this historic winegrowing heritage by opening the estate to visitors for the first time, much to the delight of families and enthusiasts alike.
