Musée municipal de Bazas to Bazas
Languages spoken
The municipal museum occupies the beautiful ground floor of the former Town Hall (17th century façade), in the heart of the city. 4 rooms present 2,500 years of history! The first room traces the history of the Bazadais region. It is centred around a large and beautiful model of Bazas, which reproduces the town as it looked at the end of the Middle Ages. Religious and fine art occupy two other rooms. The fourth room is devoted to local archaeology. It presents the many objects discovered during various excavation campaigns.
